There is Only One Good News

This morning, as I was reading my Bible, I noticed the "title" of a section in Galatians, "There is Only One Good News." It made me stop and think for just a moment. How often do we, especially in our westernized culture, get so caught up in the things of life that we forget the simplicity of the Gospel and the Love of Jesus Christ. I mean, it's amazing how intricate and awesome, and deep the Good News is, yet it is so simple in it's nature...For God so loved the world that He gave His only son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life(John 3:16). In reading further, recognizing the goodness of God, "for it pleased God in his kindness to choose me and call me, even before I was born! What undeserved mercy!"(Galatians 1:15). The love of God knows no bounds, no conditions, no mistakes, no qualifications- it's the simplest and yet the most profound of all loves. Thank God there is only One Good News...
